Pros

People are great, the culture is amazing and everyone is very supportive of each other. Great opportunity for growth within the company

Cons

No summer Friday's which is unfortunate especially in this industry in NYC. Holiday schedule is not great - we don't have the day after thanksgiving off, and we have to work half days on Christmas eve and new years.

Growing media company, focused on all the right things. Progressive in their approach, focusing on Woman in the digital space. There is a lot going for this SheKnows brand.

Cons

Recently there has been higher than normal turnover. It seems this may have been a product of fast growth with a tapering off, post acquisition.

Since joining the company more than 3 years ago, it has more than exceeded my expectations. Startup environment gives ample opportunity to pave your own way, opportunities abound for motivated employees to advance, lots of smart, dedicated and interesting colleagues, ability to work on mission-based social causes while in women's lifestyle media, and free snacks!

Cons

As a result of acquisitions, communication between groups needs improvement, multiple offices and remote employee dynamic is sometimes challenging, fast-pace isn't for everyone, and work/life needs more consistent balance.
