Pros

The people I work with are great. Delivery expectations are reasonable with regard to time frame. The office atmosphere is fun.

Cons

For some unknown reason, upper management seems unprepared to make, and stick with a decision. Furthermore, they are also concentrated at a remote satellite office in New York and are under the misguided notion that that is the headquarters of this company. Good people are let go in Scottsdale for "change of direction" reasons only to be replaced with incompetent substitutes in New York that are subsequently fired due to their only qualification being that they live in New York. The CTO is 100% untrustworthy. Prior to his arrival my rating of SheKnows would have been 5 star. Now I'm on the fence because the great office atmosphere has been replaced with a dark cloud of impending doom about mass layoffs and closure of the Scottsdale office.

High Stress, Low Pay, Clicky Enviroment

Pros

Free snacks were a pro here. You will learn a lot here and they are reasonable with time off and work from home requests within reason and they are flexible with your schedule. Dress is comfortable and casual.

Cons

Their yearly reviews are horrible. Even if you do a great job you will be rewarded with minimum raise. It is a very high stress job and management expects a ton from you. It is a extremely clicky environment. If you do not fit in or are not "liked" by others you will feel sort as though an outcast. People love to throw others under the bus and take zero responsibility. They layoff hard working loyal people. Since their acquiring of other companies it seems there has been a huge divide between the NYC and Scottsdale office. They let some people work from home full time and others don't get to at all. Pay could have been more competitive and higher for industry averages. People that work here seem very fake and will talk about you behind your back. Zero work/life balance and you will be working after work and on weekends.

Pros

There is a lot of schedule flexibility, great benefits, and it can be a fun work environment. I have been working here for several years and have seen personal and professional growth until the last two years. The lower level employees are great to collaborate with and there has been a close team environment.

Cons

The company has shifted leadership to the New York City office away from the Scottsdale office. This has created a toxic divide in the culture of the company. The executive team is trying to build the value of the company as quickly as possible. They try to quickly hire VPs and other executives they hope will turn the company around but most of these new leaders lack expertise. The focus is on acquiring new companies instead of developing the current one. There is zero opportunity to move up in the company especially if you are in the Arizona office. Most of the staff in the Arizona office believes there will be significant layoffs by 2017.
