Great opportunity to LEARN. Cross team collaboration is available. Overall the company is an experimental operation, open to new ideas about how media should work. Sam (CEO) is inspirationally smart, outspoken, and full of energy. Management team was, for the most part, extremely competent and worked to help their employees grow. More opportunity for internal growth compared to other media companies. Also had access to the parent company resources and jobs. Casual and fun office vibe. Office located right across from Bryant Park

Cons

Top heavy, lot of VPs. A tad silo’d, communication between teams sometimes broken. Direction often changed, hard to focus on a single project with interjections or fire drills. Definitely not the most important PMC property.

Pros

Management takes time to invest in the best employees. The CEO acts tough but she is the best mentor I've ever had. The company really cares about its mission of empowering women.

Cons

Some departments are understaffed and it seems like they are just trying to keep up. Same with the rest of the company- it's always in sprint mode which can be exhausting.
