* CEO does not hold good values. Planning to shape this into a more “american” company * they don’t care about support, they will fire the highest paid specialists to replace them with people who will do the job worse and for cheaper * no job security, they will fire anyone from support or any department if it means saving a dollar * rolled back all DEI and inclusivity measures. * constantly changing things without notifying support at all * its almost impossible to move roles, makes you feel stuck in support

- When I was hired, they claimed it's easy to move into a different role and that Shopify is a jungle gym. I worked there for 2 years and was not able to switch roles, and there were hiring freezes. - Management is overly critical. If you're a support advisor, expect constant criticism of your work, which was hard at times, because this role is draining and most people are burnt out. - My lead changed 3 times because they kept laying people off - Top down management. Felt like support advisors were the last to know about changes. - Not worth the stress, anxiety and LOW pay!!
