Masters of Illusion

Pros

Flexibility, catered lunch, free snacks, dog friendly office, lots of outside work events, young office, intelligent leadership team, unlimited PTO policy

Cons

It is all a facade. SnackNation is an illusion of a "Best Places to Work" environment. They have all the perks to create an environment as such but do not desire to. They are focused on getting rich quick then selling the business. Company culture has dramatically decreased since we moved offices. They pretend to be completely transparent but are anything but. The actual real benefits that matter for livelihood - health care, pay, 401K are awful. Cannot expense cell phone bills even if you use them for work. Stay away and don't get swindled to work here like I did!

Cult like setup

Pros

Cool office, although it has to be getting near a fire code violation with the overcrowding.

Cons

Over crowding very bro culture where the pay is extremely sub par. Beware of getting an offer here pulled without explanation and being left with a "we hope to work with you in the future." This is a very immature unprofessional organization that should consider the way they go about business. It's alarming to go into any organization that views itself as "my way or the highway."

Hard Work Pays Off

Business Outlook

Pros

It's still a start up, and has a pretty fun vibe. You'll need to come in, ready to work, not just play! If you are dedicated to contributing positively to the team, you will be very successful. If you come in and slack off, demand changes, or talk poorly about anyone on the team in an unnecessary way, you'll be right out the door! Some perks: you'll have access to unlimited vacation time, fun off site team events, games, yoga, weights, and a grill, happy hours, massages, catered lunch once/week and more! It's my favorite job because it's not corporate! People are real!! Sometimes we get remote days too and that's always a plus!! I just wish they were always guaranteed for a solid work/home balance!

Cons

The unlimited vacation is nice, but if you're on the sales team, you don't really try to use any because you're afraid you'll miss your goal. They are working on a solution to provide better balance here. It can be really tough to get sales with so many new AE's and SDR's, but they are always trying to find the best way to keep everyone successful. Sometimes the micro management can be overwhelming, but it's worth it to stay with the company.
