Pros

Benefits are OK Pay is decent

Cons

Literally only talks about benefits and all the things they give you, but when it comes to it they lie about all the terrible things you have to deal with when you actually get past the basic training and start "bridge" (which is literally just the job itself, but stilll called "training" so they dont let you call out for anything) You can get corrective action for being in a "personal" aux too much to like use the bathroom or make a quick phone call or to even just take a moment to yourself from the constant barrage of calls you have to endure. (Imagine a work place getting on top of you for using the bathroom LMAO) to be good at this job you basically have to be a corporate robot whos entire goal is to get done with calls and quick as possible and move on instead of actually trying to help customers since that gets you better metrics and gets you people promoted who MOST DEFINITELY dont deserve to be promoted. They have a system called SAM that listens in and docs you for certain words and phrases used, as well as having to do the same corporate intro and recap or it docs you a HUGE amount on your metrics for promotion. This job is so stressful because you have to basically be the pawn for a corporation to justify to people that they should keep paying nearly 300 dollars a month for their services that barely function

Pros

Spectrum has been a great job, and its not just my job, its my career. I fully plan on sticking around. I feel that my leadership cares about my success and supports me in and outside of the office, and that has been proven in their actions personally, not just in words. In my experience leadership is flexible yet fair. The benefits are fantastic, and being completely transparent, without them I would not have been able to afford the IVF treatments that enabled my wife and I to start a family. My team, and my leadership foster an environment with high energy and positivity, The communications we receive from our corporate offices, whether by email or in person, I feel they are making decisions to benefit our customers as well as myself as an employee. I truly feel like I am set up for success with Spectrum. I truly love this job, its not just "drinking the kool-aid" so to speak.

Cons

Call center jobs can be stressful, that's a given. As long as you can acknowledge that, accept it, and not let it get to you, you can thrive here.
