      Biggest revolving door in the city of Toronto. Endless stress and anxiety.

      Pros

      - Huge global clients and project opportunities - Free toys and food - Amazing downtown location - 3 weeks vacation and great benefits/coverage - You'll get to work with some really amazing people - Toronto recruiters know how nuts this place is, so you'll be getting messaged on LinkedIn forever

      Cons

      - Internal disorganization like you've never seen in your life - Your job description WILL change upon arrival - The ridiculous HOURS. Forget about a work-life balance. Evenings and weekends will consume you with work. - Random budget cuts and layoffs that don't make sense amidst crazy hiring of people at the bottom (who HR knows will inevitably burn out) - Too much work to do and never enough people to do it. Teams are LEAN and when someone on your team eventually quits, you're stuck doing their work too! - Political popularity contest and nepotism: plenty of brown nosers getting internally promoted and then not being properly taught how to manage - You'll be constantly stressed and worried if your job is safe, needing to "defend" your job to higher ups

      It's a hip company, with a nice office, and some fun events.

      Cons

      Many are worried about their jobs. No promotions from within. Mass firing of staff. Company is understaffed and overworked. VPs do whatever they want. Non-VPs are treated like second-class citizens. Classist company.

      Learning, Opportunity, Entrepreneurship, Free Spirit, Challenges, Projects, Travel, great learning opportunities. Salary competitive.

      Cons

      Forced entrepreneurship, low employee retention, no stability, constant turnover, benefits very poor, 401k very low, high fee for life and health insurance, no trickle down management guidance or no training or no leadership or no direction, constant individual or whole department layoffs (especially marketing and logistics). Toxic politics and favoritism. Around the clock work. And 90% of time spent in meetings after meetings after meetings and expected work completion with very high expectations (including when you are traveling). Again very HIGH EXPECTATIONS including for the janitor. Work day, night, weekends. Your whole life becomes Spin Master, be ready to turn over your soul to them. No work life balance at all. You won't be able to see daylight at all, trust me.
