I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Spin Master
Interview
They can’t seem to get their act together, so beware of your time being disrespected. While the people I interacted with were nice, the process was pretty painful. I was proactively contacted about a role in the US that I hadn’t even applied to. I had a good recruiter phone screen, and then they progressed me to the next round. That interview also went well and they indicated I would be continuing on.
Then they started rethinking the role. I never had the next interview. Was ignored for weeks at a time. Eventually, more than 2.5 months later, I was told the role no longer existed (with some very random excuses as to why). Had I not followed up, I probably never would’ve been told.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Spin Master in Nov 2023
Interview
Went through the first stage of the interview process. While I wasn't chosen to proceed further as my skills and experience didn't match what they were looking for, the conversation was enjoyable and positive and I got the sense that it would be a fun company to work for. It seems like a competitive interview/application process.
I was contacted by phone, and the interview process was smooth and professional. However, I received no updates after three weeks. Overall, the experience was acceptable and manageable for me.
