Pros

Some flexibility with work environment in making your schedule since you are only part time. You play games and play with toys at the national meeting.

Cons

Very poor management at all levels of the department especially senior management. You really do not get any training when you are hired, a manager comes to your city to just basically deliver your materials. Management makes it well known that you are replaceable so hitting your quotas becomes only thing to care about. Inappropriate comments on conference calls are a regular thing as well as feeling the pressure to sell. Only a $20 gift card offered to the merchandiser that sells the most product.

Overwork - typical corporation with oppressive leadership

Pros

4 weeks vacation is available.

Cons

There's so much work and understaffed that so many people are struggling to take those 4 weeks. Typical leadership in a corporation: unrealistic deadlines, last minute changes with zero accountability on the higher ups end and will blame their people for not making deadlines. Poor management. Process is awful and rarely honoured. If you have ambitions more than 2.5 kids, a partner, a picket fence etc the generic life, this place can be really draining as the people who work here are nowhere near exceptional. They only see you as a worker and not as a whole person so I suppose it will depend on the department you end up in and the people you work with as this is a very big company. The creative end though: awful. There's ironically nothing creative about the way they do things. Bad culture - lots of finger pointing and people tend to be rude when you ask questions. Not a psychologically safe space. Lots of finger-pointing. No sense of authenticity; even from people individually.

No work life balance, steer clear

Pros

Nice office with great work stations, snacks in kitchen, great office location. Promising licensing contracts in the pipeline

Cons

Very little work life balance because teams are so understaffed, with little urgency from management to hire additional headcount. Every other month there is a new hire for an executive position yet very few hires for people who actually do the work. May depend on specific team, but working hours for the amount of work there is were typically 9am-6pm, break for dinner, then logging back on around 8pm and working until 11pm. Not uncommon for meetings/zoom calls to be scheduled after 8pm. Would also usually work 4-5 hours on my own time during the weekend in order to finish work that needed to be done and take the occasional meeting on a Saturday/Sunday night. Year over year merit increases are also extremely low, lower than inflation increase! Employee morale is very low in what can often be a toxic work environment, with staff being worked to a pulp to complete deliverable after deliverable with no end in sight. This is very apparent with increased employee turnover in the past year, which makes it more difficult for employees who choose to stay and new hires that are onboarded
