Pros

Decent office space and good community

Cons

Post-merger, profit margins became the singular driving force behind the company. Serving the scientific community is no longer important to this company.

Pros

Respectable brand and journal offering.

Cons

No real direction. Sloppy sales organization. Haphazard updates and policy/procedure decisions. Constant meetings considered to be communication. Lax standards and SOPs. Lax data collection but a heavy emphasis on data integrity. Antiquated CRM. Emphasis of projects over progression. Just a stressful and unhelpful environment with no foresight to enhance systems or progress. Advancement opportunities are few but available; interviewing though is harsh and unrealistic. I’d never work here again.
