      Good campus, decent salary, superb work-life balance, and fair access to training resources

      Cons

      No job security due to never-ending restructuring and outsourcing. Basel office seems to be on a downward trend of workforce reduction. Career advancement within the functions that have remained in Basel is not based on merit, but rather on brown-nosing management, carrying out favors to influential stakeholders instead of business needs, sabotaging peers, and acting against the interests of the company for self advancement. The formation of small "Mafia" social groups that hire, promote, and develop only within their own ethnic/national identity and actively block outsiders or "rival" groups. Bitter management and low morale.

      Work life balance, pace of work, and emphasis on the humanity of employees. This is the perfect place to work if you want to be at your child's sporting event and not open your computer on the weekend.

      Cons

      Promotion is slow, vague, and succession planning goes out the door with any senior manager who leaves.
