Pros

Good clothes. Worked with my schedule as I had 2 jobs. One good manager, great other associates. I really liked the people I worked with. Funny and smart, made the time pass fast. I was good hanging up stuff and unloading the truck but hated the fitting room. Boring. The older white lady that works in jewelry was cool and she helped me a lot when I did have to work fitting room. She was Audra I think. All the other managers in the areas I worked were real nice and taught me aloot except the main manager.

Cons

I couldn't juggle 2 jobs. 1 black manager awful to white employees but I am black. Low pay. Gossip in the office and no communication. Manager was so rude and I heard her yell at the white associates over and over until I had to tell them how bad it made me feel for them. I have had lots of p/t jobs but never one where there was a manager that was so racist aginst whites. I have been in their shoes and it's awful to get so upset you gotts cry. I had that at another job. Glad to be gone.

Pros

Good for students looking for a part time job. I started there when I was 16 and worked there until I was 21. (5 Years) Not for anyone looking for a career there.

Cons

Managers picked a lot of favorites. I worked there for 5 years and was promoted to merchandise coordinator but was only nominated associate of the quarter ONCE in the 20 quarters I worked there. Yes I'll admit I I'm a bit bitter towards them. They will pick less than a handful of people to work hard and push them to their limits while everyone is allowed to be lazy.

Pros

- You meet great people - If you like fashion, you get first pick! - good health benefits - climb the ladder quickly, unfortunately its a ladder to nowhere.

Cons

- For a multi-billion dollar company, you wonder why some stores look so run-down - no benefits for PT and very low pay increases. - You're always changing the store around, which seriously irritates the customers at times, and even you - full-time hours are at 30, and sometimes you struggle to get those - they blatantly prefer PT workers over FT because they are cheaper, especially over the holidays. They would ironically have all the coordinators off on holidays and double up on cheaper labor. - Policy changes SO often that customers have NO idea how to return items. and employees can't keep up during certain "roll outs" of policy experimentation. - Customer Service/Company does NOT back up their knowledgable employees when it comes to taking back merchandise. Which makes management turn into push overs and your staff look like idiots.
