Pros

In my store, the managers would often buy us snacks and occasionally food like canes or pizza. They respect your availability. The majority of people there are mainly high school students and college students so it was a good community to blend in with. I was able to balance school and work easily.

Cons

The managers pressure you to sell credit cards. They keep track of how many you got each week. To change a schedule takes "3 weeks" but took me more than that. I had to plan at least a bit more than a month if I wanted to change my availability due to school or other errands. Some of the managers will talk behind your back and the customers can often be rude.

Pros

-the people are great except the managers -breaks are alright that's it.. this place was hell and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. They barely train you and a lot of things you had to learn on your own. location: The Rim, San Antonio TX

Cons

-one of the managers assaulted plenty of my co workers and the main manager did nothing -favoritism (only cross trained certain people) -poor management -lack of care for their employers -customers are super rude -pay isn't enough for what you go through -long lines -managers are super manipulative, only cared for credits.

Pros

- Flexible schedule, good environment, very accommodative, meet new people, improve communication skills, they allow college students to work like once a month if their college is out of town. Lots of great people at the Framingham store.

Cons

Their TJX Reward cards is literally ridiculous, they were much make you sell them to costumers and most employees don't like that, especially since you get no commission. Also, you don't necessarily work in your department. Let's say you're in home or men's, somedays you can be in one of those depts, somedays at the registers or other days doing the cleaning (which in itself isn't that bad). Plus it's a minimum wage job and the raises are like 40 cents per year.
