Pros

Amazing company to build relationships and grow your carrier

Cons

Feels like Thoughtworks are losing the focus on their team. Lots of missing alignment with leadership, overwhelming responsibilities with each consultant and their role on each client, too many persons being recognized while who really deserves doesn’t

Pros

Culture, people and project. Having the opportunity of working on international projects. You'll grow a lot here. It's a good brand to have on your linked, a lot of job opportunities will pop up as soon you join here.

Cons

* For Brazilians: you can get better salary in other companies, and if you have a good english please just go ahead and pick a remote job earning in euro or dollar. Otherwise you can get better wage on: picpay, ifood, mercado livre and others. * Thoughtworks sells cheap labor to developed country. They have high talented folks spread on third world, but the wage could be better for sure. * Since pandemic started, we have lost a lot the feeling of belonging to TW, we feel more on the side of clients them TW. We have embraced home office, but we struggle about how to make the company culture available for everybody. * the OPS folks are kinda of distracted from what happens on the factory bye. Some folks in there it's hard to know why they are there. *Brazil TW is awesome, but given you are working for an offshore project you end up facing another country culture, and sometimes it's not in the best way.

Pros

They respect you as a person, your differences, context and background, ethnicity, religion (there are always exceptions). Great set of professionals and people. Autonomy in the projects you participate (not beyond that though).

Cons

Low work life balance. Great deal of personal sacrifice in the benefit of the company. They hardly negotiate, and some people have priviledges not offered to others (like remote work), zero transparency on how those things happen and how you can have the same opportunities. Examples of non negotiation: compensation (even if you realize you do the same work as others after you get in), training, remote/non remote flexibility. Rarely a project is delivered without personal sacrifice and extra hours of work, usually no further compensation. Company image is more important than employees mental health. Travel only for the rich countries or selected few.
