Pros

Flexible time off. Reasonable remote policy as long as you don't live near an office. No expectations of working overtime except for rare on-call necessities. Benefits are okay.

Cons

I work in the Device Risk department (an acquisition). The leadership doesn't seem to align with architectural plan and constantly seems to struggle to work with the Product team or our Agile methodologies. No raise or minimum possible raises across the department for years while sending emails that everything is going great and we're adding so much value. Our department has had only 1 hire in the US for years, and many of our best and brightest has been laid off and replaced with newcomers to our technology who live in vastly different time zones.

Pros

Nothing I can say about this place has any pros

Cons

I worked at TransUnion, and unfortunately, my experience was far from ideal. The primary issue lies in the lack of proper management. Leadership seemed disorganized and disconnected from the day-to-day challenges faced by employees, which often left teams feeling unsupported. There was little to no structure in how tasks were assigned or prioritized, leading to confusion and inefficiencies. Additionally, the training provided was insufficient, leaving new hires feeling unprepared to meet expectations. This lack of proper onboarding and guidance created unnecessary stress and hindered personal and professional growth. While the company has the potential to succeed with the right systems and management in place, significant changes are needed to create an environment where employees feel valued and empowered to perform their best. Until improvements are made, I wouldn’t recommend this role to someone seeking a stable and supportive work environment.
