Pros

Great benefits, great FTO, great product mission. Future state architecture and strategic vision look great.

Cons

Moderate salary, very poor upper leadership in technology dept, absolute chaos due to mismanaged projects and overly optimistic goals, rely too heavily on offshore contractors. All of that amounts to constant context switching and a failure to effectively execute on the strategic plans.

Pros

It's a well-established, stable company that is trying to grow into new markets. Good work/life balance.

Cons

The company can feel big and bureaucratic at times. This has been particularly true with technical support. Opportunities for promotion feel limited to me. I don't like "unlimited" time off, because I believe people tend to actually take less time off than they do when there is a determined allocation for time off. After the way recent return to office policies were implemented, I also no longer trust that management is committed to supporting remote work.
