High pressure and demanding work culture

Pros

Interesting, challenging work offering great opportunities to learn . Benefits are competitive, the office space is modern and comfortable, and there are good 'work perks'.

Cons

Constant pressure, everything is on fire and urgent, expectation of mgmt is to work 24/7. If you actually take a vacation day, the expectation is to work through it, this behaviour is deeply embedded in the culture and comes from the top. People are talked about behind their backs and there are very few strong senior leaders with the courage to stand up for what is right. Career advancement is most prevalent in Sales and Product, not equal to other parts of the organization and promotion selections in general, are subjective and unfair.

Thank you for your feedback. Our associates are our greatest asset and we are determined to provide a work environment that enables teams to find a balance that best fits their daily operations. I'm disheartened to hear about your experience working with us as that is not the type of work environment we have set out to create at TransUnion. I will look more into this issue and I urge you to reach out to your manager or myself with more details. – Teedra Bernard, Chief Talent and Diversity Officer

Pros

-This is a great company at the top, corporate (Chicago) seems to know what they're doing. Unfortunately, the TU culture has not yet been adopted by the Boca Raton (TLO) office. -Pros depends solely on your role, department, and management.

Cons

-For sales, its a CALL CENTER. Don't let them tell you otherwise. -They will entice you with promotions that will never happen. -Low Base Salary, the benefits are good, but they're not anything special -Unnecessary focus on daily dials and KPIs - The "positivity" culture is almost Orwellian - speaking up is NOT encouraged. -Upward mobility within the company is wrought with nepotism; it is not a meritocracy.

Thank you for leaving your feedback. I'm disheartened to hear about your experience working with us. Our team environment is our greatest asset, which is why I am concerned with your cons to working at TransUnion. Career growth and meaningful work are rooted in the core of our work environment. If you are willing, I ask that you connect with your manager or reach out to me directly. Thank you again for taking the time to leave your review. - Teedra Bernard, Chief Talent and Diversity Officer
