Pros

Good pay and perks. People are nice.

Cons

Extremely difficult product to learn. The capabilities of Twilio are endless but learning everything will take you 6-12 months. Very hard to advance career here as the internal hiring process is outrageous. Had over 11 interviews for an internal interview. If you aren't someone's buddy internally, you are not going to move up. Very "buddy buddy" organization. Not very diverse in leadership outside of the outbound teams.

Pros

My colleagues are super helpful (as most of the people in the company). My manager trusts his workers and allows for a flexible environment. The company is remote first, but has some events for getting to know people.

Cons

There's a history of layoffs, which causes insecurity to most people.
