Rare advancement, the entire time I was there, only two people were promoted, but other than that, they brought in inexperienced (in both the cosmetic world and in managerial skills) "managers". Even if you tell you're manager of something, and she ok's it or tells you "that's a terrific idea!" and it could impact you negatively, you take the heat for it, NOT the manager.

Upper management has no clue as to what really goes on in their stores. Lazy, and uninspired managers are hired. Often times they delegate tasks that THEY should be doing to employees instead of doing them for themselves. Drama is insane.
