Pros

Unilever views their insight team as a strategic partner and is a very consumer focused business. The Chicago office has a great energy and is a fun place to work.

Cons

As with most large corporations, Unilever can be really political and the many processes can be really cumbersome. Also, Chicago office is closing.

Pros

The best reason to work is probably the above than pay amongst other professionals in the FMCG industry. Training & development is also highly encouraged.

Cons

Very hierarchical and seniority almost always trumps any good idea or initiative. Restructuring caused many people their jobs, some after serving for 10+ years.
