      Pros

      Pay is competitive in marketplace.

      Cons

      Univar used to value it's employees but years of constant management change has led to senior leadership who talks about employee value but their actions are just the opposite. Long term experience and knowledge places you in the "Dinosaur" category. Constant change with management not from the industry has led to years of infighting and managed dysfunction. This used to be a great company but is now a poor work environment. Run, do not walk, away.

      - Cheap benefits - Reasonable compensation - Decent for the sake of having a job

      Cons

      - Systems are from the ice age; makes job 10xs more difficult to manage - Lack of consistency and organization from management - Limited growth opportunities (employees wait 6-7 years for promotions) - Lack of hiring from within - Culture does not value diversity; mgmt only champions their own ideas - Employees are treated like children and constantly micro-managed
