      Pros

      I happened to work with a good group of people. My manager was also very supportive and allowed me to do my job as I saw fit.

      Cons

      Greedy. Went through a huge IPO, laid-off people and hired them back as contractors. Visa has a lot of money. If you're used to working in the high technology arena, this is not the place for you. It's financial services so it's very conservative. The people who were laid-off received very generous severance packages. Maybe laying off people was good, because I've heard that a lot of them have a lot of time to surf the net

      - well known company good for fresh out of school to gain experience and good compensation for people who would like to put in "just enough to get by" effort

      Cons

      - management is short sighted and too focus on quarter to quarter financial to the extent that only the next quarter result is important. anything that rocks the boat is not viewed favorably even if it is good for the future because rocking the boat has potential short term negative impact to financial.
