Pros

- Work pace is much slower than in other AAA productions. You have room to breathe. - Work / life balance

Cons

- Compensation package is NOT competitive for specialists and juniors (which comprise the majority of the teams). - Office politics and drama are rampant. - Racist / sexist comments from co-workers. - Lack of artistic and technological know-how within the company. General lack of experienced devs. - If you are looking for highly driven and ambitious working environment working on cutting edge games / technology- you will be very dissapointed. - Lack of transparency and proper feedback from managers and leads which are "OOO" far too often. - If you score a competitive salary, be prepared of being laid off at any time- commit with caution and definetly remotely. - Working on-site has no benefits- colleagues won’t share their knowledge and onboard you properly. - Latest company startegy is indicating that financial health of the company is deteriorating.

Pros

- Free drinks - Supportive HR to some extend if they are not blocked by product groups - Not bad salary for Prague

Cons

- The work environment exhibits elements of misogyny, racism, and fosters a culture of exclusivity and male camaraderie. - The salary package falls significantly short of industry benchmarks. - Organizational hierarchy is primarily determined by tenure rather than merit. - There is a high tolerance for disruptive behavior, including yelling and toxic conduct. - Managers tend to refrain from advocating for their team members and may disingenuously placate their superiors, often prioritizing personal comfort. - Managers frequently make exaggerated commitments with the intent of momentarily appeasing their subordinates, which they may not subsequently fulfill. - The emphasis within the workplace tends to skew towards diplomacy and political maneuvering rather than product quality. - Senior management occasionally appropriates and discredits employee-generated ideas before later implementing them. - The CEO's communication style lacks coherence and is occasionally reminiscent of an inebriated relative at a social event.

Pros

Got to know and work with amazing people. Work was most of the time interesting and even if the ride was wild, it was great.

Cons

Poor culture; a lot of people in high positions where they didn´t bring any value, they just got the roles due to nepotism; friend of senior folks or whatever their relationship might be. Another thing, is that there is no desire for diversity and inclusion. No efforts are being made and the culture in their HQ is quite exclusive as the majority are locals not interested in including expats in day to day conversations. Throughout my 5 years there, I saw quite a few leaving the company because of this.
