Amazing parties, a lot of cool/smart people, and pays extremely well

Cons

If you do not 100% buy-into WeWork's "mission" you will not be a culture fit and you life will be miserable. The business model makes absolutely no sense and its a very sexist sales team. Very bro-centric and being a female you are made to feel like an outsider. Very unprofessional working environment...most people are too young to understand that the environment is dysfunctional and not professional as most have been working at WeWork since college. Or one of their relatives works there.

Cons

Absolutely no work life balance - Upper management has no respect for your personal time or responsibilities/obligations outside of work Insensitive racial jokes Male chauvinism Does not treat employees with respect Cult-like environment - if you do not "drink the koolaid" they fire you and say "you're not calibrated for success at the company"

I guess the only pro is that it's well known company, but so is Uber - doesn't mean that it's good company to work for, hence their low ratings.

Cons

Awful environment (overgrown frat house). If you aren't taking shots on Monday's and drinking from the kool-aid, you are shunned. Investors will catch on, and when they do, it will end up being a black hole on your resume. No 401k. Management thinks they are higher than their staff - big fish in small pond syndrome. Other people in the industry don't take you seriously.
