Pros

Really nice office environment, and great young and energetic coworkers. Good healthcare benefits and plenty of small perks like food, alcohol, parties.

Cons

General disappointment with the executive team's lack of responsibility and desire on making this a truly exceptional company with great values and sustained long-term growth. Publicly, the company wraps itself in a veil of "community-building" and entrepreneurship encouragement. But behind the scenes, lies an unqualified executive team composed almost entirely of friends and businesses partners of the CEO; which jointly, are looking for one thing and one thing alone: grow as fast as possible without considering the consequences, in order to get as much hype and the most amount of financial investors in the shortest time, so they can go public. And then... it will be somebody else's problem. At this moment, the main chunk of the labor force is working as hard as possible and sacrificing themselves to maintain the company's image and sustain it's uncontrolled growth. But eventually, they will collapse under the weight of the executive team's failures and bad decisions. This could have been one of those rare companies that come from time to time and bring a generational change. But the way it's being managed currently, it will just end up being another short-sighted money grabbing scheme.

A company that does not value employees

Pros

Great parties, lots of alcohol, really fun co-workers. Good opportunities for advancement as they are growing around the world.

Cons

The company doesn't care about its people, especially at the lower levels. Senior management is only looking out for themselves, and don't show employees care or respect. Blatant sexism from the 100% male leadership team.

Pros

- Free coffee/tea/biscuits/water - Salary was ok

Cons

Where do I start! - From the on boarding process that felt like you were joining a cult - mustering up enthusiasm and brainwashing the young into thinking this was THE best place to work. Failure to deliver on most of what was outlined as perks of the job. - Placed in teams/buildings not always suitable to personalities. - BIG EGOS in the teams. Jostling for credit and a pat on the back. Trying to get noticed. - Staff moved around buildings on a whim and without much notice. Can't quite understand how this is meant to build up team morale and trust if there is literally no consistency in staff. Also looks terrible to members when their community managers are consistently replaced. - Long hours! No lunch break routine so you feel bad for taking a full hour. - Compulsory after work events to attend. This was never outlined during on boarding. Events were just so weird and over the top. Very 'American'. - Not for the serious. Don't work here if you have had a serious career in the past and expect some level of professionalism. - Admin side of the job is so extensive that you can't actually focus on the members and building relationships. - Hiring of a very similar 'type' of person - if you are not up for a party, being silly, taking selfies in toilets, being best friends with everyone then do not join!
