Pros

Excellent salary Annual conference and summer camp in two major cities Interesting exposure to a hyper growth business Free booze, massages and coffee Good work life balance Nice colleagues

Cons

Untruthful job description: it was a lot less interesting and far more tedious than advertised during the interview process. Incompetent management: not conducive to professional development. Erratic and frantic behavior. However, not the case across the board - there are some incredibly intelligent and good hearted managers generally speaking. Office politics: a lot of gossiping. Marketed wonderful values that aren't a reality in everyday office culture e.g. despite the "Women of WeWork" and many pro-women events, a lot of sexism occurred in the office (albeit minor). At least they recognised it was a problem and rolled out anti-sexual harassment training. For lack of better word, conferences felt a bit cult like.

Pros

- great business model and potential of business growth but not sure about individual growth - 20bn $ company - casual, fun culture and some great set of people - great employer branding. all my friends think i am probably doing great and envious of me. - some people are loyal, some have even posted multiple positive responses here just to get the rating up of WeWork on Glassdoor

Cons

- nepotism : I had heard stories of that in international locations but that has come to India as well. The team is filled with people who happened to know the "young" director of the company or were related to him in some ways. the so-called smart HR and other team members who have no idea what it is to run a team or organisation are calling the shots and just sucking up to whoever needs to be sucked up to. - hiring is a joke - no scope of growth once you have reached a certain level unless you wish to continue doing the same job in a different location - 12-14hrs days

Pros

- Lots of Ownership - You won't be bored, a lot of things to do - Young co workers

Cons

I don't mind the long working hours, but thats if its once in a while and productive to a project that I can show for. Long working hours are caused by endless pointless events, limited resources, and "everything is community responsibility".
