Great flexible company with a nice culture

Pros

Lots of people have worked there for a long time and have always been very happy doing so which really speaks volumes. I'm have been welcomed into a very friendly, relaxed but hardworking atmosphere. Staff are motivated and empowered to make their own decisions and always work together rather than against each other. A welcome change from most other employers with an inspiring attitude to work. They do tons to reward their hardworking retail/food workforce at their sites.

Cons

The usual politics in areas but this can't really be avoided.

Fantastic company, great working environment

Pros

Everyone is so friendly and the head office environment is like none I have ever come across before; fun and relaxed with great coffee and lunch available. It truly is a fantastic place to work. I have a fairly new role and have plenty of opportunities available to me to grow and develop.

Cons

The only cons I can think of are that my holiday entitlement is slightly less than I have been used to at previous employers and there are some benefits I miss (e.g. cycle to work scheme, discounted gym membership) but overall nothing major and the pros certainly outweigh these. Parking can also sometimes be a bit of an issue at head office but I just make sure I get in early to get a space.

I made some good friends

Cons

Work life balance. EU working time directive. Taken for granted. No reward and recognition. Management think no one has a life outside welcome break. No support from higher up, just criticism.
