Pros

The employees in the club are good people.

Cons

Wellbridge is an outdated and antiquated company who places the success of the company solely on the shoulders of the membership reps instead of spending the time and resources increasing the quality of the member experience. All they care about is increasing sales. Corporate leadership is ignorantly disconnected from the local clubs (unless it's a club in Colorado or Baltimore). Outdated processes makes running a high end athletic club seem blasphemous (i.e. - having to turn my desktop computer screen around and sliding over my mouse so a new member can sign the e-agreement).

Pros

There isn't much that I would overall say was a pro about Wellbridge, but some of the team members within different departments are genuine and very helpful once you get to know them.

Cons

Too many to count. Corporate leadership plays favorites worse than anywhere I have experienced. For a company that charges a premium price to it's members they do not treat their facilities or their employees at all. Onboarding does not exist. If you have great colleagues in the clubs you can definitely get some help, but don't expect it to come from anyone outside of the club because they don't have the time or want to help you. By the time I was a GM I was the 7th in 2 years. I spent more time putting out fires, and fixing equipment than I was managing a club. I can count the number of times on one hand my regional manager visited me at my club. The company will send team members from other clubs and corporate departments to spy on you rather than spend time with you to help improve the business. If you were a favorite of the leadership team then you can do no wrong, if not, better prepare your resume for a new role.

Pros

Free gym membership and you work with SOME great people.

Cons

Little pay, management doesn’t really care about lower level employees, or the facilities as a whole. Also a high pressure job.
