Pros

Great people all across the organisation, decent pay and reward, nice office locations, interesting work.

Cons

The core Research leadership team has been in place for many years, lacks any flair and has now lost the support / respect of the organisation they 'lead', they restructure often but just keep switching deckchairs when they fancy a new role. Its happened so often now its the norm. Most people are actively looking for a new role

Pros

Worked on my own time in my own home; no micromanaging; people I worked with directly were wonderful.

Cons

The managers I dealt with had little idea of what actually went on with each journal. Also during one period they changed frequently; Wiley was in the midst of a big shakeup and no one was able to tell me what was going on. In addition, there is nowhere I can find on their careers page what journals need managing editors.
