Pros

Good work-life balance, flexible hybrid working, depending on your dept so long as the job is done it doesn't always matter when you do it. Friday afternoons have been given as either free or non-meeting time for most employees - essentially giving employees a half day back. A temporary measure that most employees would love to become permanent.

Cons

A MASSIVE gender pay gap that was identified years ago and still little has been done about it. The best way to get ahead at Wiley is to be a straight, white man. Still. Senior jobs and managerial roles occupied by men who hire more men. Often men they worked with in another company. Leadership is starting to look like clones of checked shirted, khaki pants men. It's a massive morale issue for women working at this company, but one that the mainly male leaders won't or can't acknowledge. Claiming they can't use any form of positive discrimination even though they clearly do when it comes to hiring old college buddies or colleagues. Compensation for Non-US colleagues is far less than US based colleagues.

Pros

Colleagues are generally enjoyable to work with and most have a skill level required to do their jobs which assists with effectively completing team related projects.

Cons

Below industry compensation and lots of excuses from comp team about the data they purchase to assist with setting salary ranges. Those excuses aren’t fooling anyone. Little to no adjustment to compensation for inflation, despite other similar organizations making efforts to take care of their people. Attrition is horrible right now. New people announcing their resignations every week. I have never seen so many departures so close together. People are leaving because they are not being paid fairly and are now doing the jobs of 2 and sometime e people due to short staffing.
