International exposure to health issues and possible solutions Multi-cultural staff Countries look forward to WHO for neutral advice

Cons

While countries look for advice, the staff members are not able to provide it due to the bureaucratic advice against it. The staff members present the same thing every where irrespective of whether countries need them and they are appropriate. This is what they call it 'standard'.

Cons

Geneva is a very expensive city to live in, even for a short period of time. There is no financial assistance available for interns.

I worked in a small regional office, as a result I was given more responsibilities than some of the larger offices. Great opportunity to gain valuable skills and for a well recognized organization.

Cons

Little opportunity to move up in the organization... actually have a policy that restricts interns from taking on staff positions for up to 6 months after there contract ends Internships are unpaid
