Pros

career development, networking opportunities, collaboration with other organisations. I would recommend this to anyone looking to start a career in global health.

Cons

Interns do not get paid at all which makes it very dificult to live in Geneva (Not the cheapest city in the world)

Pros

You will interact with competent, accomplished people who are experts in their field. Compensation is very good and the organization recognizes achievements made by its staff.

Cons

Recent economic hardship has hit budgets hard and WHO has been downsizing and prioritizing on projects. Not the best environment to be for long term job security, at least in this current environment.

Pros

A very good place to work, if you want peace at work and peace of mind then this is the place for you.

Cons

you won't get salary hikes which you may get in private industry. also this is a Non-Profit organization under United Nations Organizations, so the jobs here are contractual in nature.
