Pros

It's a good brand that tailors fashionable clothing. One hour break (unpaid). Very nice employee break room. There is a fridge, a microwave, a small table, and a vending machine. You can use your small employee discount in stores all over the world.

Cons

Only 15% discount. Zara makes all sales associates wear an ugly black uniform (simple black t-shirt and dress pants) and they only give you a new uniform once a year (so if you lose or gain weight, too bad). There is no work/life balance, you will work long shifts, running around the store for very little recognition and pay. Management does not like it when you take days off and nags at you to take on more hours. You only get commission after a 6 month probation period -- my wages were $10 after that point. All you do as a sales associate is clean the giant mess that is the store and run around the store putting clothes back on the floor. If you do not show up to work for whatever reason, you are automatically fired. Management views all associates as replaceable and unimportant.

Pros

there are no pros to working here.

Cons

A management team that don't do anything but sit in the back stairs watching reruns of love island and eating snacks they send saes assistants out to get. - mentally damaging management team in particular the general manager. - low pay. - make everyone work overtime to get tasks done management should have done but don't pay the staff for it even though they should but they always 'lose' the sign out sheet. - over worked and underpaid. - management bully the girls they hire and will make them do a management role whilst paying them sales assistant wages until you 'prove to them you are orth paying management wage. - corn young girls working there to verbally abuse them leaving employees in tears on a daily basis. - tell staff to lie to head office when they visit the store nd say systems are implemented when they are not to save themselves and make young staff member do over night shifts at the drop of a hat to pick up their slack.
