Pros

none that I can think of

Cons

All you can think of: Employees are disposable to this company, and they make you notice that every day. No nice spaces for breaks, no supplies (coffee, tea, microwave, seats), the lockers are like the ones in prison I imagine, no propper space to change clothes or storage something, bathrooms and general cleaning of the store is AWEFUL, walls are not painted and general building maintenance is depressing. Salary is the lowest that can be, but the expectations over you are super high. Schedules....omg what to say, you are not the owner of your time anymore when working for Zara, schedules are planned just a week ahead, and even tho they are changed. No paid overtime of course, so they give you and then take hours from you as they, or your manager, wish. ZERO training or feedback from your manager, I spent my first 3 months without any word from her about my performance or "career" prospects. You also have ZERO benefits, just a shitty discount of 25% (could be 40/50 guys c'mon, you pay to fabricate some items in Asia 0,05 € I saw the spreadsheets). And when you are not useful anymore then they do not renovate your contract, so the first year you have 2 contracts that can or cannot be renovated, so they never do a layoff and paid what you deserve, they just discard you. It's an awful company, a terrible work culture, even worst environment (cos they foster it), the worst pay and the actual job is to fold clothes 4 or 5 hours a day. If you have anything better to do with your time, DO IT, do not join Zara.

Pros

Coworkers band together due to the constant disrespect form managers at every store in the GTA.

Cons

Terrible management, absolutely disrespectful. Terrifying to think these are the people making it up the ladder at Zara.

Pros

Pay in general correct. You will learn a lot, not because the training (that is almost non existent. There is a very useful app, but guess what? you should access by yourself in your free hours using your internet (so if you want to learn about zara you should use non paid hours for that).

Cons

You will be threated as slave from the very first second. Bullying is the statement of the company if you want to grow. Spanish bosses of the managers comes often to the store making scene about everything. It is a very toxic and underpaid environment. The HR is almost non existent, with ZERO actions for employees. No coffee. Place is a disaster, the only explanation that became the biggest retail in the world is actually by exploring underpaid labor around the world and cutting everything possible that could make the employees feel that they are human beings. I cant imagine how are the factories that these clothes come from. BTW major of clothes are very bad quality, you really need to be an expert to find something good there in order to use the discount of 25 per cent. Contracts are very bad in order to make your life even more miserable. You will have a contract of 6 hours for more than one year even if you work more than 30 hours, also you will have thousands of responsibilities and angry costumers without having training or recognition for it (also no better payment for it).
