Pros

Corporate culture is generally supportive, finally getting firmer with the less capable folk and pruning the non-core assets.

Cons

Local management have a tendency to micromanage and need to see people 'at the desk' to believe they are working despite delivering objectives when working remotely. Benefits package is still lagging the competition.

Pros

- Never need to work late (blessing and a curse) - Great pay for few hours but slow pay progression after initial high rate.

Cons

Outdated organisation. Finance function is at least 10 years behind in terms of process management and software solutions. Results in high paid staff doing menial tasks such as data entry and management. Low morale and poor management. Line managers tend to have poor management skills and don't know how to get best out of their team. So focused on getting the job done that innovation is killed. BP staff members will think of 100 reasons not to do something. No innovation, complete aversion to change. Middle management scared of how innovation will likely make many of their jobs redundant and expose inefficiency.
