Pros

One of the biggest and most famous companies in the oil industry. Salaries are high. The company has programs for graduates in their field of specialization which benefits employees inside the company and outside it if they think of working for other companies. The company stresses strict safety roles.

Cons

As trainee the experience was not very enjoying as there is less care given to trainees. There is not little amount of paper work alongside with one's core work.

Pros

The company really look after it's employees, from health and safety (BP are big on this) to social life. They pay very well and I found the job to be of low stress.

Cons

Might be difficult to progress quickly through the company as I believe they still have rules on being in a position for a minimum of 2 years before being promoted. Lower level staff aren't always informed directly on their impact on the company.
