Pros

BP is a great place to start a career. They will train you, expose you to many different aspects/places in the E&P world, and provide you with the tools to succeed in your job. BP has so many different producing areas in their portfolio that you gain a wide range of skills over a very short time frame.

Cons

Very large company so things move very slowly. It takes a long time to accomplish anything and that can be frustrating at times. If you do work at BP make sure you are proactive in everything you do, from your technical training to your work... otherwise you can become a number and that does you no good.
