Pros

Large size and name recognition. Excellent benefits / perks. Decent salary - if you have leverage to negotiate. Nice severance package for long term employees.

Cons

Expect to work long and hard for those $$$. Work-family balance is more of a joke the higher you climb. Expect frequent re-orgs and downsizing. No loyalty to long-term employees.

Pros

There are a large number of opportunities available to employees all over the globe. Because of these opportunities you have the ability to really pick your own career path and this means there is a career path available for all different types of people.

Cons

The organization is at times overwhelming and is not always focused on supporting operations as well as it should. Different parts of the organization seem to work against each other.
