      BP Management Framework needs "teeth" - and harsh consequences if not adhered to. Get rid of CIO before it's too late.

      Pros

      It has so many faults, that one can make a difference - if one can influence the senior leadership.

      Cons

      Constant changes / restructures, lack of competent leaders (especially in IT&S), no "teeth" in policies means due process is often ignored with no penalty for the perpetrators, lack of structure in financial authorities / accountabilities. New CIO appears clueless, makes knee-jerk, misinformed decisions....GM all over again!

      Pros

      BP really stresses work, life balance. Employees have to be here at core hours, but other than that, you can get here earlier and leave earlier. Also, 9/80 is great because you get every other Friday off. I also like the managed 3 year challenge program. It gives a college grad really useful information to get a head start here in this huge company.

      Cons

      Sometimes it takes too long for a project to be done because of the size of the company. Also the training program is not the most put together one. A challenger really has to keep track of everything to be sure that his or her training is on track. BP's size sometimes would make you feel that you are just a number in the crowd.

      Pros

      A company that is facing a lot of challenges, BP is right now a good place for those who welcome change and want to prove something to themselves. Compensation is fair and benefits are excellent. People here are genuinely good people with good intentions.

      Cons

      With lots of changes comes a lot of long time employees exiting the organization. There is currently a lot of uncertainty.
