Zero Work life

Recommend
Business Outlook

Pros

Worst experience. Head learder has good vision but lower management spoiled it. Company's Values are superb but only on paper.

Cons

Zero work life balance, Biased ,company values are not maintained. Promotion are not considered on the basis of performance . Hidden pressure forse employee to be mum/ Salient. You will experience retaliation, tactics are played in such way you can't prove it to HR, then you will end up with leaving job. In such fear majority of employees dont raise voice. No clarity in role and Responsibilities. Failed leave management.

Pros

The company has a lot of good cultures and the management is held accountable to execute good cultures. It pays good salaries and benefits. Environment is not too toxic (just certain people are, like every other company).

Cons

Some leadership team are not very aligned with the values. Processes are haywire and the company is still trying to cut cost by moving the centres to india. Bad decision honestly. It's like the management are not even aware of the worsening of the work qualities and just created more gap in the process.

Five Core Values are Truthfully Only Two

Pros

Some pros of working at BP are Friendly co-workers, diversity, equity, and inclusion. The 9/80 schedule allowed a weekday off, which helped me accomplish some things.

Cons

bp has five core values, but in practice, it upholds two: safety and excellence. The others (respect, courage, and one team) are talked about but not necessarily displayed daily. Respect could be restated as "respect of persons" because only a select few because of the political environment inside of bp. Employees are constantly told to have courage and speak up, but it needs to be supported and responded to better. One team sounds lovely, but since the environment is political, it turns into every person for themselves so they can get recognized and promoted.
