Pros

Some great technical and commercial people Interesting and challenging projects Generous benefits

Cons

Poor management and leadership by female managers Tolerates bullying culture Claims to support women in the workplace, however reality is very different - most female middle managers are poor role models, some are didactic and others abuse the flexible workplace arrangements by rarely showing up in the office Does not support employees with health problems (both physical & mental) - such employees are forced to leave Lack of transparent career progression Biased allocation of training & development opportunities

Pros

BP provides decent pay and benefits. They have a gym, dentist, doctor, pharmacy and vision center on campus. 9/80 schedule (every other Friday off).

Cons

Volatility due to oil prices. Mandatory processes and procedures lead employees to believe that they are not trusted to do their job.
