I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Beaumont, CA) in Jan 2021
Interview
It was a phone call with the hiring manager. He asked about my experience, what skills I had, etc. He asked the usual questions, "tell me about yourself", "how have you handled a difficult situation", etc.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2022
Interview
Phone screen with recruiter, online assessment (general personality questions, along with read this situation and pick the appropriate answer). Then full day interview with 5 different people for an hour each. Way too long of a day, started at 1pm and finished at 7:15pm. Interviewed with 2 analysts, 1 manager, 1 director, and a "bar raiser" (mine was in HR). All behavioral questions (was told there would be a general case study, but did not receive one). Behavioral questions were very wordy and specific. They definitely emphasize demonstrating the leadership principles in your answers.
