I applied online. I interviewed at Applied Intuition (Washington, DC) in Jan 2026
Interview
First interview was screening with HR. It went well. He was very professional and communication about the entire process.
Second interview was a coding round. It was not the typical leet code style. Think of it as debugging a problem in code. Pretty straight forward. I wasn't familiar with using coder Pad for debugging so I asked the interviewer to use my own debugger and he agreed. The preparation instructions before the interview suggested that I could make this request if I wanted.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Applied Intuition in Nov 2025
Interview
On site was virtual and lasted four hours with four different sessions. I was interviewing for a perception/3D reconstruction role and they had me do an hour long research presentation followed by three coding interviews.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me to solve a monocular depth estimation question in a Collab notebook that was mostly filled in but I had to remember 3D geometry/transformation equations and implement it.
I talked to a recruiter first, then technical screen, then another chat with the recruiter. I passed the first technical screen but decided to proceed with other opportunities. Overall the process was clearly defined and recruiter was helpful.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
First interview was a typical leetcode-style question, maybe easier side of a medium. The interviewer was relatively friendly, and asked at the end of the interview how I'd clean up the code if in a production environment
