I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (Reston, VA) in Nov 2007
Interview
I found the interview to be extremely directive and adverserial. Rather than having a professional conversation I felt that the interview panel was challenging me on every aspect of my resume in order to verify. I'm fine with validating and providing clarification around resume points and statistics but felt that I had to defend my resume rather than talk about my self, find out about the position and integrate areas that were of value. I was also asked repeatedly if I'd attempted to make any contacts within the firm prior to my interviewing in an effort to expand my network. I couldn't tell if this was a genuine question or an attempt to find out if I was courting current assets.

Question 1
Lacking specific around metric on purpose:
It says here on your resume that you increased (your metric) by (x %). I find that hard to believe. Can you expand on how you made this possible? What steps you took, challenges you faced and how did you communicate the return to the client?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (Washington, DC) in Apr 2009
Interview
I was contacted by a member of the group I am joining and subsequently by a recruiter to organize and schedule the interview. The interview itself was a single afternoon marathon including a presentation by the recruiter regarding the benefits, a skills test, a group interview and three one to one interviews. I was contacted two days later indicating an offer would be made. I was asked for a salary range and then was contacted the next day by the hring manager. An offer was made at that time at the midpoint in my range.

Question 1
I was asked a business case and given very little time to organize a response.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (Norfolk, VA) in Mar 2009
Interview
Was originally contacted by a recruiter, we played phone tag for about 5 days until we finally touched base. The recruiter performed an initial phone interview, discussed the opportunity, the company and what my experience/goals were. We moved to the next step which was a face to face interview with a series of hiring managers (5 in total). The recruiter sent a pre-interview package that described what I could expect and initial information regarding the benefits that BAH offers. I found this package very good and an excellent way to get on the right foot. Each hiring manager spent about 15 minutes with me discussing the opportunity, the company and my experience. I did not find this to be high pressure, I rather enjoyed the opportunity to meet several people and get a good perspective on the company. Within a week of the interview, the recruiter called me with an offer which I found fair and accepted. Two days later, I received the official offer letter and a week later received a hiring package to fill out before my first day. The package was thorough and answered the rest of my questions regarding benefits.
So far my experience with BAH is very positive.
