I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Cengage
Interview
I was asked to come in for way more interviews than were necessary for the position, and it wasn't clear why most or all of them could not have been done in one session.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Cengage (Boston, MA) in Mar 2019
Interview
I sent in my application and was contacted for a phone interview in a week or so. My phone interview was easily scheduled, and it seemed to go well. The interviewer (Talent Acquisition guy) said he would pass on my information to the team and would contact me within the week. I sent a thank you email, he said he would be in contact. Several days passed and I sent a follow-up email to check in/see if I was still being considered. No response. I understand if I wasn't the right fit for the role, but even a declination email would've been nice.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Cengage. I am sorry to hear that we have not responded to your inquiries. If you connect with me directly I will look into your status.
