Did an initial get to know them interview. I thought it went well. They were fairly nice and straight to the point. They asked about my resume and the technologies I had worked with.

Question 1
How much Java experience I had, how much React experience I had, my experience with past roles. Pretty much your normal first stage interview stuff.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Cengage (Cincinnati, OH) in Jul 2018
Interview
The entire interview process was drawn out over 3-4 months. This included multiple rounds of phone interviews, two video conference interviews, and one in-person interview with individuals and a group panel. The in-person interview required a rather lengthy “project” presentation that requires you to evaluate three different subjects to determine which one to invest development resources into. Overall, this was the most work I have ever experienced for a prospective job. Considering there was not a job offer, I’d say that the amount of time and effort are definitely not worth it.
