I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chipotle (Poway, CA) in Jun 2015
Interview
I came in twenty minutes early, the lady was ten minutes late and there were two other people waiting with me. We started off alright, she was really quiet and liked to talk about herself a lot. When she finally got to looking at the applications she acted surprised that me and the other guy were under 18 which made her start a rant on how minors don't last there because its too much work. After that it went very smoothly and she told us how its very important to be curious and look around the restaurant before the interview instead of being on our phones... ok... we all did that except the staff was rude and made it very awkward. Anyway, I got a rejection email a few hours later. My friend had a worse experience a few weeks later. Incredibly unprofessional and rude DO NOT apply to the poway location
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Cincinnati, OH) in Aug 2015
Interview
I went to the interview 10 minutes earlier than scheduled. I went in and told the cashier I was there for an interview. I had to wait for a manager to be available and they gave me a cup. They asked simple questions such and it only lasted for about 10 minutes.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chipotle (Chicago, IL) in May 2013
Interview
The hiring process was actually pretty simple. In Chicago the downtown stores had walk in interviews. Any one could come in and sit down with the owner and managers and interview on-site. I believe you filled out an application before hand. I also had a resume but was not asked for it. So when its your turn (the wait can be a bit long) you sit with manager for about 15 minutes. Because your sitting in the middle of the restaurant while customers are there it can be a bit noisy and distracting.
