I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Ink (Londres, Inglaterra) in Apr 2017
Interview
I received a call from the Recruitment & HR Manager around half hour after sending my CV on a Thursday. We had a nice chat about the reasons why I moved to London etc. I got invited to the interview which took place on a Tuesday.
I didn't have any expectations at all because a lot of companies have funny videos and fancy homepages and they are offering you the world. The Glassdoor reviews made me slightly more curious about what was going on at Ink and made me wonder if they were actually paying their employees to leave good reviews on here...
The interview took place at the Ink HQ in London which was quite easy to get to as both, the Overground and Underground are literally just around the corner.
I felt comfortable straight away. After having a long conversation with the HR Manager, I got to meet the Sales Manager as well. I remember myself being pleasantly surprised how much time we spent talking and I felt like they really wanted to get to know me.
They asked me if I could start immediately and I said yes, so they scheduled an appointment with the Sales Director for the same day. Two hours later, after having lunch in one of the nice restaurants near the office, I had my third interview. I could tell that the Sales Director was trying to make me nervous and kind of testing me but as I already mentioned, I felt very comfortable being there and had the impression that I would fit in perfectly by just being myself.
...aaaand apparently it worked because I got hired! My first day at work was the day after my interview.
All in all it was the best interview experience I ever had, it kind of felt like one of those once in a lifetime experiences.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those hyper and overexcited people but after a couple of days at work I'm still very excited and can't wait to start my training. The colleagues are fun and helpful and there's definitely a good vibe which makes it easier to get up early, get ready and jump on the train to West Hampstead.
Ink has a lot to offer if you take the chance - applying for the job is the first step.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q:
- Tell me about yourself.
- Why Ink?
- Why Sales?
- What are you passionate about?
- Why are you so confident? (I think it was a mix of me being really excited about the job and him trying to confuse me with that question)

Interview
I applied online and was contacted a day later. I was invited to the office. After talking to the recruiter, I met the manager I should work for.
After that I met the team and was shown through the office.
I was informed about the companies decision to hire me the same day.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ink (Londres, Inglaterra) in Dec 2015
Interview
I did the interview first with human resources, then with a sales manager and the same say with the department's director. They asked basic information, then they asked to do a demonstration of the pitch in my own languages and then in English to show how I would sell the magazine.
The basic salary offered was quite low and the skills they were asking for were quite high. Clearly it is a company that is not interested in training people and that want to hire senior professionals giving in exchange a pretty poor salary.
They also said they will update me with the outcome of the interview, They never informed me about any update.
They are quite unprofessional under my point of view, after wasting almost 5 hours with that interview the minimum a person deserve is an email with the outcome of the interview.
