I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Massage Envy (Evansville, IN) in Mar 2017
Interview
Perhaps my situation was unique. I simply walked in unannounced to check the place out, knowing I wanted to apply. The manager happened to be there and we talked for at least a half hour. I told her of my desire to work there, asked her a few questions, and told of my experience and background in massage. It was an enjoyable conversation and she helped provide me with some resources regarding transferring my license. We scheduled an appointment for an official interview and practical (massage), which was today. Having spoken at length before, there were just a few questions but mostly by me about how they do things.
I applied online. I interviewed at Massage Envy (Yorba Linda, CA) in Feb 2017
Interview
Communication and follow through virtually non existent. It took me weeks of emails to get an interview slot and they kept changing the location that they needed an esthetician at. Interview itself was very basic. It seems like the people running the spas do not have knowledge of field in which they are interviewing. They made me come back a week later to do the second (practical) portion of the interview due to conflicts at the time I was there. Not a professional atmosphere in any way.

Question 1
How many hours and what days I could be available.
I applied online. I interviewed at Massage Envy (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2015
Interview
This is a group interview, and they are very friendly as well. There are different interviews that you must go through before getting an offer. The second interview is a script on selling the memberships, and after you say the script, the interviewer will come up with three objections and say no, which you then have to try to come back and change the no to a yes.
