Interview
I applied for this position through an ad on Craigslist. The ad had a link to CareerBuilder to fill out the online application and attach my resume to be forwarded to the district manager. I received a phone call two days later from the Spa Director to set up a time for my first of two total interviews. The first interview was really more about the job description, going into further detail about what's expected of a Front Desk Associate and daily responsibilities, and I was also given information about Massage Envy's membership, or "Wellness Program," as well as a script to study for the sales pitch. I had to call back when I had the script memorized and then did a second interview with the Spa Director where I recited the script. I was offered the position at the end of my second interview and accepted.

Interview
I applied online and got a call the next day. They sent me an online survey to fill out and a request for additional information and then called me back to schedule an interview. I went in for the interview which included job shadowing for a few hours, which was actually very helpful because it made me see if the job would be a good fit. Time consuming, yes, but worth it. A few days later I got a call for a second interview. Both interviews were typical questions about past jobs, customer service skills, etc. Basically getting a feel for how good you would be serving customers. A few hours after the second interview, I got a call offering me the job. I will say though once you get the offer it takes a week or two to start because there is extensive online training to do. Plan on devoting several days.

Interview
Interview was extremely long and the lady DID NOT stop talking. She was lecturing me about sales skills and seemed highly critical. I left with a migraine and a bad taste in my mouth. The second lady was much more relaxing and didn't hammer me with information about the company. They only offered 8.50 an hour, despite me having years of sales experience. I decided to email them when I got home and tell them I changed my mind. I can see working here becoming a big headache and I'm not interested in that for 8 bucks an hour.
